Terms of Service

By accessing or using Vernacia ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.

Vernacia provides AI-powered document translation. You upload a file, specify source and target languages, and receive a translated version. Translation quality depends on the AI model used and the nature of the content. We do not guarantee translation accuracy for regulated or safety-critical content.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete registration information.

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates any third-party rights
• Use the Service to translate content that violates any laws in your jurisdiction
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our API or infrastructure
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
• Upload content containing personal data of others without their consent

You retain all ownership rights to your uploaded documents and their translated outputs. By uploading content, you grant Vernacia a limited, non-exclusive license to process your files solely to provide the translation service. We do not claim any rights over your content.

The Vernacia platform, software, and brand are owned by RAMSIO CLOUDSERVE INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software without written permission.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected, in INR for customers billing from India and USD for customers billing internationally. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Cancellation, refund eligibility, and billing-dispute handling are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

All payments are processed through Razorpay, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway. We do not store your full card number, CVV, or bank credentials on our own servers. See our Privacy Policy for how payment-related data is handled.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that translations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. AI-generated translations may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing translations before using them for important purposes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vernacia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may terminate your account at any time via settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
